Grandpa's - Naugatuck

Ordered through grub hub….food tasted old left over from breakfast!!! Ordered country fried steak w/ mashed potato corn and a salad corn had no flavor and tasted like can …mashed potatoes were ok country fried steak tasted like it was frozen and the gravy tasted old left over from AM. Biscuit was to old and dry again left over from breakfast…and my salad never came

After coming to grandpa’s restaurant for some time, and found it to be a gem. All changed. !!Today my second Saturday this month at this place. They definitely changed cooks. Food is bad, dry old hash browns, home fries so blah that were not appetizing!l!! New ownership or new something that is not working!!! I have to search for a new breakfast place.

I work nights, so finding a place like this is perfect. They serve the entire menu from open to close, and the menu is huge. I was eating a buffalo chicken wrap at 8:30 a.m.. Hard to find a place like this with great food and fantastic service. Definitely worth a visit.

Called the other day asked if there was outside seating can I bring my dog. I was told absolutely. Arrived one day later was denied use of the patio. Told it wasn’t open. They did not know I had a dog. Beautiful day ruined for me my wife. We were excited because friends highly recommended the food. Don’t know never able to eat. Won’t return. Went to Mary’s Diner sat on the patio enjoyed lunch.

The food was absolutely delicious here! I went with the Spaghetti Bolognese.. it was great! The staff was really friendly too : Visited again for my birthday (since it was so great last time and equally exceptional food and service! The Bolognese was a bit different this time around but still yummy! It also had a gorgeous presentation!
