Portobello Cafe, Grill - Nazare

We ordered the mixed seafood plate shrimps in garlic plate. The food was super delicious. The service was great !

Absolutely wonderful! We didn 't have breakfast, and it was close to noon, so we thought to stop for an early lunch. What a great decision. The stuffed pimientos and portobello with shrimp were a wonderful way to start our lunch. Service was excellent, Breakfast wine was a great recommendation by our server, and we sat on the patio in the middle of the square atop Nazare. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

Great food, with amazing flavour. The pricing is comparable to most restaurants in the area. I would recommend any of the shrimp dishes, they are all fantastic! The service is just okay, seemed rushed to get our orders in but then never saw anyone again unless we flagged them down. They only have 1 washroom stall and it has no windows or ventilation so it’s not the most pleasant. Other than that, I would recommend this place to everyone.

This meal was great. I would say that was the best meal I had in Portugal during my time. I had the grilled chicken with potatoes and rice and chocolate mousse for dessert; the mousse was for dying! I forgot to photograph the duck, but added a picture of the dessert. The waiter was excellent. Another pair of our small group has also eaten here and had Rave reviews for seafood.

Best fried shrimp ever! Fresh salad, delicious appetizer. Owner, Michelle is from the U.S. and has Portuguese parents so she grew up bilingual. Also speaks fluent French. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend!
