My wife's dish was thin and overcooked, with an overwhelming taste of crust or breading. The salad, with inedible cherry tomatoes, seemed like it was taken from a bag that had been sitting too long. My order of homemade bratwurst blend lacked flavor and spice, paling in comparison to even a store-bought brand. The meals were pricey, and overall, it was a disappointing evening in the picturesque Colorado mountains. We couldn't help but think we might have had a better dining experience at Frankenstein's Castle. Hopefully, someone will address the unwelcoming atmosphere at the restaurant.
As for the food, our vegetarian sons had only one option - a vegetable platter that seemed to be right out of a can or overcooked. My wife's dish was thin and overcooked, with the taste mainly coming from the crust or breading. The salad had inedible cherry tomatoes and seemed like it came from a bag at Walmart. My order of their homemade bratwurst blend lacked flavor and spice. The meals were expensive and overall very disappointing. It was not the enjoyable evening we had hoped for in the beautiful Colorado mountains. Perhaps someone should inform the restaurant of the unwelcoming atmosphere they have created.
