Went for lunch at Black Pepper, a newly opened restaurant on the Paseo Maritimo Burriana Beach. There is inside dining as well as tables under a covered canopy at the front facing the sea. There is a wide selection of tapas and pinchos ranging in price from about €2 to €4. One chose three tapas: aged Manchego Cheese with Anchovies €3.50, Jamon Iberico with Goat Cheese and Tomato Jam €3.75 and Russian Salad €2.50. The other chose a main course dish of Goats Cheese salad which came with avocado and smoked salmon €9.50. Ribera del Duero wine by the glass cost €4. The food was really very good and well presented.
We were specifically looking for a take away to have a picnic on the beach. At Black Pepper the staff were helpful and happy to prepare a variety of choices from their menu for takeaway. I had a tuna toasted sandwich and it was enjoyable. However the boys had a BLT- not quite as as impressed as the bacon was quite fatty. Daughter ate a hot dog with out complaint. Happy full tummies though.
Had some drinks here but not so sure I would return. it had no real atmosphere and was never busy any time that we passed
An amazing place to visit, great food , great service, ideal if you want to spend the day at the beach
