Kumo Hibachi Sushi Lounge - New City

The service is excellent. they need attention to customers, but not annoying. everyone was very pleasant and the host was very welcoming. in any case recommend and will return.

Good good and excellent service. tarrytown doesn't have too many places to eat. hibachi is a good choice

The restaurant has a very dedicated great staff. We were there on NYEve so it was unusually noisy filled with kids. Not the restaurant 's fault (and they did the best they could but there was a table with maybe 12 adults and they sat there kids (about 12 ages 3-15? at the table next to us. The kids didn 't eat, or sit but ran around like crazy while the adults didn 't supervise and and their meal. I felt bad for the restaurant who clearly had to 'accommodate ' this unruly crowd and even though there was a lot of people waiting for a hibachi table, the 'adult 's at the 'adult ' table didn 't care. In any case, once that group left, the noise and chaos subsided and we had a wonderful fun time. For the record there were several kids at our table who were well behaved. This large group was just awful. Maybe the restaurant should insist kids sit w/ their parents next time? The food was yummy and chefs a lot of fun. We will go back but will reconsider the NYEve visit. Or maybe go later than 9pm to avoid these large child-filled groups.

Very good sushi and lunch specials, I ordered several appetizers and a lunch special and was served everything at once. The soup, salad 2 sushi rolls, edamame and lunch box. The food barely fit on table. Not very bright, if you go don’t give them entire order. Order as you want and you may be served proper.

Food was excellent. Place was perfect for my son's birthday with family in attendance. The hibachi was fun and entertaining.
