This was a very bad experience for me. The room curtains and chairs were so stained. The curtains were falling from the windows, the rod didn't work, I had to pinned them shut. The commode seat was rusted. We requested another room but it wasn't much better. The ice machine did not work on my floor. The hall carpet was torn.The air conditioner didn't work so they brought me a fan that didn't either work either. Finally, they brought me another fan. I had to go to a nearby Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies and bedding. It's a shame that I was subjected to such a nasty hotel. The breakfast was decent but this place needs to update their hotel. It could be really nice if they invest some time and money into it.
Now when I arrive the place had cobwebs waiting in the vestibule. The inside where the desk was located was clean in the waiting area, the carpet needs to be changed or shampooed, the A/C needs someone to perform maintenance; it work but don’t get cold. Rooms smelled like cigarettes and it supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel. The breakfast they supply are always the same, also they leave the food on too long with out anyone monitoring it so the eggs dry out as well as the sausage. The waffle are good also the cranberry drink in the machine. Part of the hotel is shut down, no one answer s occupying that area. It’s a pretty big place, my stay there wasn’t bad but wanted to let you know what you where getting into; I had a wonderful time in our 55th convocation, God came through that place. Hope this help you guys/girls out. The price is reasonable if they could get business maybe the place could reach the potential it use to have an also you have to realize the pandemic played a part in this.
How awful is this hotel, let me count the ways 1. Stayed one night in July and the air conditioning was broken 2. The room was old and shabby wit no bathroom space for toiletries 3. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely tasteless 4. The front desk was completely unhelpful and lied saying the air conditioning was fixed and would take a few hours to cool off. It was oppressively got the entire night into morning
No a/c in room.. asked front desk staff about the room being hot and they stated the a/c was not working. They gave me a box fan. It was 90+ degree weather and humid... And I had an infant. I asked for a refund front staff stated I would receive a full refund. It has been almost a month no refund and no response from the staff through booking.com to me nor customer service. If I would have received my refund I would have left more stars but I give what I got gaven. I wish I could give no stars.. bad business. I would definitely try to write the same review on ever site this hotel has listed..
