The dishes were delicious and the service was pleasant. But this is not typical pricing for Chinese fare. I would advise anyone to check the prices before dining or certainly to check your appetite. Or wait for New York.
After much awaited time and renovations, the restaurant is back open. Me and my family have been waiting such a long time for dim sum to open back up. Man.....were we disappointed. So much money was spent on renovating, that the quality of there food is below subpar, everything seems to be frozen and not fresh It also seems that they have jacked up there prices to nearly double of what they were previously prior to renovation. Do yourself a favor and drive to Uncasville and go to Golden Palace, by far the best dim sum around and at half the cost. DO NOT GO TO GREAT WALL!!! You are wasting your money, you're better off ordering Chinese food.
Came for dim sum. Food was terrible. Many dishes were lukewarm, under seasoned and tasted like they were sitting somewhere for a while. Service was completely inadequate. Had to wait for a while just to get a set of clean plates. Place was not clean. And to top it all off a bill was over $70 for a set of small plates that should cost half of that. I would avoid.
First time back since March of this year and the place has taken a dive. The veggie spring roll brought to us was ice cold in the middle! When this was brought to their attention there was no apology or anything. The sticky rice had a freezer burnt taste. Definitely not fresh by any means. Finally to top it all off...the price of a single dim sum item was $7.50! I asked the waiter about this and he pointed to a some scribbles on the corner of the menu. Totally unacceptable experience. Do not go unless you want bad service, overpriced food and have nothing better to do with your time.
$8 for one plate of dim sum!? Yes that’s right. The owner said it’s included tax and tips. But it’s still way too expensive for below average quality of dim sum.
