I was impressed by the diverse range of rolls on offer, each one beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. The use of purple rice adds a subtle sweetness to each dish, perfectly complementing the other ingredients.Overall, this sushi restaurant is definitely worth a visit and adds perfectly to the New Haven food scene along Chapel.Vegetarian options: separate section in the menu with vegetarian options that are reasonably priced.
Is it exceptional? Well what stood out to me was the wasabi is really good, you can't get this sort of wasabi in the sushi you see at the supermarket. I wouldn't be surprised if that is impacting the price a lot. I personally prefer the sushi place from my hometown though. To summarize:High end sushi for a high end price. I think it's best for special occasions.
Was so good! Got the house salad, miso soup, and spicy tuna rolls. Very fresh and well priced. Went there a week ago. Currently on my way back as I am typing this.

Maybe they were busy but it was a long wait time. Maybe we need to reserve a table. One seated the wait time to get out food was really long. We got our food but no utensils. Had a tuna roll that was lacking tuna flavor which was agreed with the party on the table. Maybe it was a bad night for them. But overall the food was lacking something. Not a tasty experience for me on my table. The staff members were super nice which was a plus.
