ZINC New Haven

Excellent meal at Zinc as usual. Recommended wine was delicious. Service was exceptional. Zinc is our restaurant in New Haven. Don't change anything.

Delicious food, beautiful ambience, good service. I would recommend adding more vegetarian / vegan options and changing the bread you serve with cheese plate because the taste of thyme overwhelms the taste of cheese (and it was not too fresh).

Zinc is one of our favorite restaurants in New Haven.

I had a reservation for the bar, it was only three seats, two were hired, and mine wasn't. They told me the other two were for a reservation I had too. I had to wait for my drink and take my order until the other reservation of two people arrived that put the tone for my whole experience. I don't understand, because I was alone, it wasn't a priority. I felt ignored. what it was a shame, I am used to travel for business and I enjoyed tasting different restaurants, food was good, but service was not an unforgettable experience for me.

The meal was fine but not exceptionable. I had dined there in the past and felt the execution of the meal has declined, my very small $31 piece of chicken was dry and my wife's salmon which she requested as medium rare was overcooked and lacked flavor.
