Feedback gevenComing from a bbq fanatic, and a Texan..the ribs are a hard pass in my opinion. More of a dry pulled pork barely hanging onto a bone. Meat is dry but soaked in a vinegar like marinade to hide the dry-ness I suppose? Just a mushy mess..I’m sure they have other good items on their menu such as the fried shrimp which I can compliment. But the ribs are far off from ribs..Being inside was pleasant and the staff were nice. I would go back to try other items as I’m not a hit or miss person.
Been going here since I was a kid. Tonight was the worst stuff I ever had here. Asked for extra sauce and not even sure they put any on them. Very disappointed!
Why would you pay to eat at a Styrofoam Take out tray. You can get better ribs. Any place else
Ribs and barbecue are subjective. Some people think their favorite style is the only style anyone should cook and everything else is garbage.I like the ribs here. Very unusual. Not everyone agrees....who cares! They are free to go somewhere else.Give it a try. They are super busy on weekends, so obviously a lot of people like them.I love the way it was for a long time. Menu on the wall, food served in paper boats, wet wash cloth to wipe your hands with. Not fancy, go in your work clothes if you want to.I understand they take credit cards now, and that is probably long over due. We always carry cash, but many people rely on that plastic and more than a few have been dismayed to find out they might have to go to the ATM before they eat here.Basically chicken or ribs is pretty much all you need to know to order. They have other items and if you have kids with you you'll probably end up looking over the other items. But otherwise....chicken or ribs.Salads are OK. Some people love their home made dressings. I usually pass on the salad. I go for the ribs! The water is well water and has a taste that you can sometimes even taste in the soda mix. I usually get a bottled water, pop, or a beer. Problem solved.Enjoy!
Not like the old days, ribs great most of the time, last week not much flavor.
