Feedback gevenIt was a long time ago at the fair in Manhattan... we were there, a small company called Moore-Lambert sold low-watt lighting for common areas in hotels, apartment and commercial buildings. Of all things, Orza's Bakery had the display area next to us... It was the first fair in which Orza's was. I asked Sonny why they had no exhibition... they didn't know what to show at a fair. I asked if they have any baker racks... sure... and they have a bread... of course. Get enough racks to go over the stand and bring you enough of your special bread products ... we built a back wall of its beautiful breads ... he brought a table and a large cutting board and consisted of wonderful sample of his products, and I think he signed some new customers ... he took me and my business partner to very nice Italian restaurant (I think it was called Jean Marino's Ny) I remember the taste and texture of his bread products Thank you! - Doug Stokes
Great place! This is the place for fresh bread made to go daily.
BREAD FACTORY was recommended by a local pizza restaurant as a place for authentic New York cheesecake. We were not disappointed. We are from Houston Texas and have made a point to stop here on vacation. Fatima treated my family like royal. These are the sweetest people we could hope for. If you are ever close to New Rochelle NY, you will definitely make this goal is highly recommended by us.
One of the biggest treasures of Westchester is the bread factory at 30 Grove Street in New Rochelle. You have phenomenal breads and my personal favorite is her cranberry walnut bread. They make them in different sizes, including reels that always seem like they just came out of their ovens. I used to throw tennis in a nearby club, and my weekly pilgrimages only helped breathe in the amazing aromatic scents of freshly baked bread. You also have delicious cakes, cookies and bread sticks! A Thanksgiving, I ordered foot long bread sticks that were a special item that they make for weddings and other events. I was concerned about them as the coronavirus has changed the landscape of retail and wholesale companies, as I am sure that many of their restaurant customers no longer order the quantities of their delicious breads and rolls. I was happy to find the bakery busy with new counters and probably do well, as I would consider the bread factory to be really ESSENTIAL business! It is with a trip so to breathe in the smell of fresh bread, but it will be smarter to buy some and bring them home!
Another great reason to love New Rochelle! Walked over from metro north after work and picked up an awesome birthday cake for my husband. It was a marble Bundt cake with Nutella ganache that was totally scrumptious! I think it was just one of the baker’s specials for the day since I never saw it there before. Anyway we love all the cakes bread rolls. The quality freshness cannot be beat anywhere in the area. Keep up the great baking!
