Taqueria El Chino - New Rochelle

I ordered the Carnitas and Birria with Consomé, which came with a generous amount of tortillas, cilantro, onions, and limes. It was absolutely delicious! I purchased it for my friends who are not Mexican, and they loved it, especially the Birria!

The checkout process was incredibly friendly, which was a big positive for me. The staff noticed that I didn't speak Spanish and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. In the past, I've had negative experiences at Hispanic and Latino restaurants when they realized I couldn't speak Spanish. The restaurant was clean and the staff were dressed exactly as advertised on Google (serving Birria tacos and consommé). I would definitely return.

Hidden gem in the heart of Mexico. The food was exceptional and the service was quick. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, which I appreciated. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. I tried the chipotle chicken with salad, while my husband enjoyed the chicken steak. We will definitely be returning.

Food is always fresh. My favorites are Burritos, Tacos and Tostadas. Mostly order to go, but I love that they make sure everything you need to eat your food. Best Burrito in New Rochelle, hands down.

New Rochelle has about 15 Mexican restaurants. This one feels homely. Like in at a neighbor's house or something. The good is excellent here.
