Really disappointing delivery from Charlies bird. I was so excited for their exclusive pasta dish and this is what I received. Barely any flavor, because barely any sauce. $25? Very disappointed of how much money I spent on disappointing dishes. Fries that are too hard to chew and the chicken was soggy.
The smallest portion ive ever seen in my life and for TWENTY FOUR DOLLARS : very mid. not worth the price.
Tagliatelle bolognese is phenomenal. Also very much enjoyed the hangar steak. Perfect meal, a close second to eating at the restaurant.
Unfortunately it was not a good experience and do not recommend. As far as the food, the appetizers and desserts were good, but the entrees were inedible: specifically the short rib special was too fatty and the grilled bass was gone off and way too fishy. We told the waiter that and he neither apologized or offered us to order something else in place. He was more focused on rushing us through the table, where he gave us the bill within an hour and a half as the hostess said they had another reservation waiting. As a long time NYer (also worked in a NYC restaurant for a couple of years) It's understandable that during the holiday season, restaurants are trying to book as many tables as possible, but ruining one customers experience to get another customer in, is not a good policy.
