We were disappointed with our overall experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, despite there being few customers when we arrived. We waited at our table for about 20 minutes before our orders were taken, and it took another 20 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. It took a total of an hour from being seated for our entrees to finally appear. Although the staff apologized for the delay, it was not enough to make up for the wait. It seemed like the restaurant was more focused on their takeout orders than the patrons dining in. When the food did arrive, the portion sizes were inconsistent and some of the entrees tasted burnt. Additionally, we were surprised to learn that the restaurant only accepted cash, which we had not realized when making our reservation. This may not be an issue for some, but it is something future diners should be aware of.
I'm happy that there's a restaurant that replaced one I frequented until it closed a few years ago. The Malaysian and Thai dishes are very good. Everything was tasty and well made. If you like spicy and or food with various degrees of heat then this establishment's a must try.
The crab Rangoon and roti were incredibly delicious and unique, I would definitely return just for those dishes. The general Tso's was also above average. The service was quick when ordering, but became inattentive once the food arrived. However, if you're in the mood for Malaysian street snacks and want to enjoy a new round of beers easily, this may not bother you. Despite this, I will definitely be returning and recommend you give it a try if you're in the area looking for a bite to eat.
The food was good but a bit pricey and the location was in the basement which was OK but felt weird
