My favorite Thai in nyc. The pad Thai and green curry were excellent. Not much ambiance so get it to go.
Thai food directly from bangkok. shows the best Thai spot in Hell’s kitchen. all dishes were well cooked and delicious. Recommendations:Morning glory with salted fish (off Menu)Shrimp cakes basil chickenfried fishtom yum soupmango with sticky rice
Another great Thai spot in Hell's Kitchen! I ordered the Seafood Gra Tiam $18), which had an assortment of different seafood and veggies. The seafood was tasty, especially the large mussels and was a nice combo with the veggies. However, I have to say this dish was a bit bland though. I also tried the BBQ Pork with Chinese Watercress $17). This marinated pork was delicious and very flavorful and tender with a slight spicy kick. It's also not too often that restaurants offer quality Chinese watercress like this. I think the prices were pretty reasonable too. The interior is a bit small and felt a little cramped from being so busy on a Friday night, but the staff were super friendly and we were able to be seated right away without a reservation. The service speed was also decent. Overall, Wondee Siam offers high quality authentic Thai dishes beyond the normal Thai restaurant offerings. I would highly recommend it if you are interested in trying some new Thai dishes in a cozy and friendly environment.
