They allow 4 people maximum at the restaurant at a time. They take your temperature and request that you fill out a questionnaire for precautions.
The food and portions used to be great. I use to love their food. Their lunch portions kept getting smaller and smaller and I realized it was mostly just rice. They had great mealpal options and they substituted some of their best meals with very basic Chinese dishes.
I made an order through ritual and ordered the custom poke bowl. I was excited to try a new poke place since it had torched salmon as one of its protein mix ins. Overall, I was disappointed to find that my order was missing some of the toppings I chose (masago and shredded nori). I wasn't made aware of my missing toppings and only realized that this was the case after I had left the place. The lack of toppings resulted in a rather bland poke bowl. For the price paid, I believe that I can get better poke elsewhere. The poke itself isn't anything special and I found it to be lacking in flavor even with the Sriracha Mayo sauce. They do give a large portion, but I found that I wasn't able to finish most of the bowl since it was very plain. Wishing that I had stuck with my regular poke bowl places that offers unlimited toppings.
I come here about twice a week with Mealpal. The Spicy Crispy Tofu is excellent! The portion could be slightly bigger but maybe that's just me :
I ordered a dish with MealPal with Poke Junké (spicy fish with veggies and rice) and was surprised at how good it was. It was nice and hot when I picked it up and even after a 10 min commute back to office, it was still warm and the fish was still crispy. Veggies were fresh and crunchy and the sauce reminded me of the same Chinese fish (braised fish with tofu), just as delicious and not smothered in it. Despite the name, it actually wasn't spicy which suits me fine. I'd come back again for their hot dishes, but not Poke, simply because while I like sashimi, I don't like it with ginger and scallions.
