My friends and I (5 people) dined at this location for the first time. We knew this was a popular restaurant and we made a reservation ahead of time but when they texted us to come to restaurant we still had to wait about 30 mins before we were seated. Overall price to quality of the food is good and I went with the Don 't Think. Just Eat.
This place doesn?t take reservation. We did get a table pretty quickly. Ambience is a little too dark but if you are in for some moody gloomy ambience this might be the place. On sushi front we got the prefix lite option. The first dish in it was great but everything else was just normal. We also got the NZ nigiri(again nothing exceptional)
I've been to sugarfish in NYC and LA and no matter what you order, you can't go wrong. All the ingredients they use are fresh and paired perfectly. This is the only sushi place I know that serves sushi with warm rice and I can't go back to cold rice. I ordered the Nozawa Trust Me and unagi. As usual, I loved everything. I can't wait to go back.
This place was amazing. Coming from Colorado where there really is no pure sushi place. I really love how the pieces come out a La crate instead of all at once. It gets pricey but so worth the price. Also there was no tipping, it was all built into the prices.
Another great experience at sugarfish! The nigiri was very fresh and the service was quick. We did the ?trust me? and also tried the otoro from the a la carte menu and both did not disappoint!
