Don Pepe - Newark

Went to a milestone birthday party. The staff was tremendously fantastic and very attentive. The food was out of this world! Such a wonderful variety of food and the white red wine was delicious at each table. I would definitely recommend Don Pepe's restaurant for a couples, small and large parties! I have been a long time patron of Don Pepe's as I worked downtown Newark for 34 years before retiring two years ago.....Don Pepe's is always a great place to be!

Always a wonderful time! New Years party was phenomenal..never an issue with parking, the food, the staff, the food. We have been to dinner many times and never an issue. Don’t ask for butter with your bread people..it’s not that kind of place..use the olive oil. Remember you treat them well and you will get the same in return.

My husband and I were invited by wonderful friends for dinner last Aug 3. This venue is explicitly warm and vibrant. It is bustling with activity. I like that if you want to get your mind off things. Our dish : the seafood platter, branzino and rack of lamb were just tender, flavorful and herbs loaded. Paired with their refreshing red sangria. Our waiters were attentive and accommodating. Though quite a distance from us, it was so worth the trip! Thank you KEN and MILES !

My family and I have been going here for years. The service is always on pointe. The food is delicious and never disappoints. My favorite is the steak and paella, I highly recommend. I just had my sons baptism there and I was extremely happy with the service. My guests loved the food. The bartender Lawrenço kept my family and friends at the bar all night, Mixing some great drinks. Want to thank owners, Luisa and Pepe for everything, they are wonderful people. Thank you Don Pepe restaurant for making my sons baptism a memory we will never forget.

Great food, great service. The octopus appetizer was the best I’ve ever had (even better than what I was served in Spain! and the seafood platter was tasty.
