A great old style pub. Loves the interior design. It could be in the Peaky Blinders series. Worth a visit.

Cosy, dark pub with comfortable seating, a large bar in the middle. Friendly staff, good prices. Can't go wrong. The outside seat is great if you want to be outside. Loved it in summer.

Beautiful warm pub with a raised feeling without the elevated prices. Interesting selection of beer and cider on tap. If busy, but the heated outdoor area is very welcoming if you cannot find seating in the indoor area. Clean toilet facilities.

Super choice of beers even had an imperial fall to 12 % (Keg). For me personally, I am not thrilled on the layout of the bar, I find it a little claustrophobic, but I have to give it 5 stars, just for the beer palette.

Barman suggested, quite rightly, I sampled the porter before buying. It was fine, but not a patch on the chocolate and vanilla stout. Super beer and super service. Thanks.
