I tried to book by phone (as we were on a fixed timeline) telephoned 12 times permanently engaged (or from the hook) so actually went during. a break in rehearsal. (also the age took how they were served at the bar and there was no one specifically assigned to the restaurant) arrived at the appointed time and were told there was a 45-1 hour wait for food! when we complained and said that was the reason we had booked, we were told that they would put us the lists higher than courtesy! they must (and pay in advance) order at the bar. we were all booked on a table, but paid separately. I have, however, checked that eating would arrive at the same time and was told to him. it didn't. I ordered from the Christmas menu garlauch mushroom as an appetizer then a red wobble tart with kartoffels and creamy lauch. my starter first arrived when I could distract it from the next table where the waitress tried to deliver it. the coating on the mushrooms was so overcooked that it was impossible to get a fork in them. my friends had just ordered main courses. it came 5 minutes later. then I waited for another 25 minutes for my main course (my friends had finished their) when that arrived, I had kohl (not framed laeks as on the menu) and the tea was in the middle cold and only around the side tilted. when we complained about the service we told us that they were very busy." the damentoilettes are not signed at the top, so dark they can not see a hand in front of themselves, and have only a single wallgate instead of a wash basin and this does not work very well. all in all, a terrible experience. I'll never go back.
Was a bit of a wait for our food but the lovely blonde bar staff was very apologetic and offered my son an ice cream for after his dinner she was very friendly and chatty had a son called Elliott the same as my son,...food was amazing well worth the wait

On a Saturday Morning after a night of drinking and partying, me and a friend decide a English breakfast is needed. We head into town and see Pacific House down one of the side streets. From the outside looking in, it looks a very fancy...and to be honest, expensive establishment, but far from it when it comes to prices. There is very good deal on, which is 2 Full English Breakfasts for £8, a very good deal if you ask me. We decided to endeavour and take our seats. After ordering the food, we waited only ten minutes and the meal was ready. We were greated by a clean, and extremely appetising breakfast, fit for a king! The egg was cooked perfectly, and the mushrooms, don't get me started on the mushrooms. They where the best mushrooms I have ever had on a breakfast, and I have had alot trust me. The toast was good, the hash brown was good as well, however not much bacon if I had to make one complaint. Everything complemented each other and was a delight, especially for £4. You can get a larger breakfast for an extra £2 but this was filling enough. The staff are also very friendly, always asking if there is anything else you need, and genuinly seemed to care. While I haven't been for dinner and drinks on a night, and can only base this on a breakfast, I would highly recommend. Overall: Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Price 5/5
Great venue for breakfast or lunch. Good selection of real ales and wines. Reasonably priced for city centre and not far from shops so perfect destination after shopping! Called in for fish and chips as it was Friday. Two meals for £15 which was great...value as the fish was beautifully cooked, mushy peas tasty and the chunky chips are just to die for! Great friendly staff too.
