Golden China - Newport

The waitress is carrying this restaurant on her back , she was wonderful ! The food was so bad though , 100% frozen and then just prepared for you. Save your money and eat at home. You're better off going to Costco and making it yourself.

Terrible. We ordered for pickup and when we got home we found that they gave us the wrong food. When we called and let them know, they told us that we had to drive back and return the food in order to get a refund. It was getting late and I have an infant, I didn't have time to drive all the way back out there just to prove a point. She told us that we were lying and just wanted free food. Wtf? I tried to be nice but she was just so rude. I guess we'll just have to take the loss and never eat there again. To add insult to injury (we ate it since we paid for it and didn't have time to make anything else) and it was terrible. Abysmal customer service and awful food, I'm amazed that this place is still in business.

This is a real hit miss restaurant the cooks are very far apart. 1 cook is good and the others are bad very bad. I got sick from the last to go order(I only eat take out)so unknown who is who but do not want to risk going in and setting down to eat and see which is which.

The worst Chinese food that I've ever had. It was very expensive for horriable quality. It was almost $60 to feed my family of 4 and half of the food we recieved wasn't even editable.

They try. So earnestly do they try. But I am convinced that all of their noodle dishes began the day in a Safeway Signature spaghetti bag. And what ancient dynasty secret is to thank for sweet and sour sauce that gelatinous, that gummy, that COLOR? It metamorphoses the battered and fried pork into some sort of meaty Jell-O shot. As for flavor, the only thing Chinese at Golden China are paper lanterns and those bobble-head plastic cats.
