Feedback gevenIHOP is supposed to be a place to get breakfast,but they were out of biscuits,the place was very dirty,the bathroom was cleaner than the dining area.this was on sun at 3pm. Don't think I'll ever return to this place.
Since early of Jan 2024, IHOP at the Cold Spring location has become the restaurant I had always hoped it would be. I can tell there must be ‘new management’ because my meal was a ‘5 STAR meal’ today, (perfect). The restaurant was very clean and the waitress was extremely friendly, she served the meal with a smile. Even the manager stopped by and told us our meal was ready to come out, and yes it was a hot meal. The food was excellent! My family and I will start coming again. To be clear, our server was trying her best. However, someone in management thought having only 2 servers on the clock during the dinner rush was a good idea. So, it took 20 minutes from the time we sat down until someone took our order and another 15 before we got our food.Once the food got to us, it could not have been more disappointing.My wife ordered the pancakes of the month. She said that they were super dry and begging for sauce that just was not provided.I ordered a BLT with fries and an order of mozzarella sticks. The cheese sticks arrived hot but they were not crispy by any means and the cheese was already congealing. They came with cold sauce that barely had any flavor to speak of.In regard to the sandwich (pic attached), it was saturated with mayo, and only 2 strips of bacon on the whole thing. That would have been bad enough but to add insult to injury, the bacon that was present was soggy, chewy, gross.All that plus 3 soft drinks and a kids meal and we ended up with a $40 ticket. The food we received MAYBE was worth half that, and that's being beyond generous.
They are open 24 however the night i was there they were very short staffed after hrs so you want to go in before 11 if possible. There was nobody that came out of the kitchen to add to my order nor take a my rides order after midnight. It was like being there with nobody manning it. But they did not close.Vegetarian options: There are some breakfast options a veggie burger if they keep it stocked.
Seriously the manager and upper management of this IHOP should be fired to let this go as long as it has. Best thing you can do is close it down. If don’t have enough employees to handle the incoming traffic then close the facility. You’re only creating a bad customer experience and your employees suffer. We waited a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes from sit down to check arriving to table. The food was good but the wait was entirely unnecessary because you as a management team don’t want to do the right things to improve customer experience.
