Sam's Hot Dog Stand - Newport News

Between the palm full of fries, half raw philly cheese steak meat and the half lemonade and half tea that taste like water my experience was absolutely terrible. I will never eat here again.

We had our first US vacation and serched a real American Hot Dog. We checked out the Internet and found sam. It was our best Choice. He was a real nice and Friendly Person. We talked about so much about pur 4 children and the world and so on. A Great Store, Great owner, Great eat and a Important Step for our next vacation. We plan our holiday around sam. :

Small little place, only about six tables. Played retro music from the '50s. Guess, the nicest proprietor you 'd ever want to meet. The dog was really good. Air fried fries, which is different but oh so good. Ice cream and milk. We will definitely go back.

This is my go to place for hot dogs. The customer service is second to none. When I'm feigning hot dogs this is the spot!!!

I Passed this gem many times, never knowing what deliciousness awaited. Tucked behind the Burger King on Jefferson J Clyde (strip mall). You’ll find a Hotdog stand that might take you back to your childhood (if you’re old enough to have completed childhood). On to the rating. It’s a restaurant but appropriately named due to once you step inside you get that hotdog stand feel. Nice and quaint. You’re greeted with a genuine smile a hello a welcome (which is becoming rare now days). Beef dogs and in house made chili. Meals made to order (hot fresh). I had air fried French fries and a vegan chili dog. I am not vegan and neither is the chili, yet this didn’t stop the combination of deliciousness.
