I checked the menu in French and decided... on a cheese and a room omelette. the quality of the onelette indicated that a fine cook had prepared it: delicate, perfect. served with cut baguette. my only regret is that it will take a while before I can try more menu points again. Honestly, another omelette would be great! I agree with the other ecent reviews. ps: the cook was in fine clubs in monte carlo.
We were looking for a quick lunch before we fly out of nizza. this little walkway café has all crossed crates. faster and more efficient service. the French lady, who took care of us, was very helpful in selecting the meals.
They come over this small Krug-side restaurant only by chance while they return to our apartment. we enjoyed it so much that we visited twicw and would have visited if we had visited near again. both of them had an salate and there was so... much to it, it was a firm for the eyes and the likes. I usually can't recommend it well enough. my partner had one of the specials the following lunchtime and also enjoyed it very much. it seemed like many locals eat there and I think that this is as good as they can get. good service, good portions and decent prices. can't come back high enough. tres bien!

This is a very unassuming little place on Avenue Durante that we almost walked by. It's very small with a few inside tables chairs and some outside under a canopy, where we sat for our lunch in the sunshine. There was a large table...at one side where several men sat eating, drinking and playing cards. We got the impression they were locals, which, in our books, is a good recommendation of an establishment. The food was freshly prepared (I could see into the kitchen area from where we sat) and it was perfectly presented; good sized portions and good value for money. It felt very laid back in a relaxing way, which was much to do with the style of those serving, who we believe, were probably the owners. There are some interesting works of art displayed on the walls inside, and from the business card given, it looks like the artiste could be one of the owners. I would recommend this little cafe to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere for a light meal.
