Its cozy inside and ambiance is accommodating. The service was nice and the food yes we love it. We started with pumpkin soup split into two it quite delicious. We paired it with their complimentary bread with tomato in olive oil. Then for the main course we had paella valenciana and gambas ala y jillo, oh!!! and it was amazingly paired with their sangria. It was a happy dinner eating a wonderful meal with my wife. By the way the price.... It`s cheap for a mediterranean cusisine.
The food at this restaurant was decent overall. The prices were fair and the portion sizes were good for sharing. The clam chowder and garlic soups were tasty, with the garlic soup having a hint of bacon flavor. The lengua was average, sliced a bit thinner than usual. The Egyptian lamb kofta was flavorful but slightly undercooked, resulting in a softer texture than desired. The zarzuela de mariscos was delicious, with a generous amount of shrimp. Unfortunately, the desserts were a letdown, with the creme brulee tasting similar to leche flan and the churros con chocolate not meeting expectations compared to other restaurants like Dulcinea.
I absolutely adore the food and the service at this restaurant. The paella negra is by far the best I have ever tasted! I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and will be returning for another visit.
I stumbled upon this hidden gem in Watson and decided to give CPK a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the lamb kofta skewers, despite the bread being a bit too powdery. The skewers were tender and flavorful, not tough or chewy. I would have given it a perfect 5-star rating, but I want to try more dishes before making a final judgment. Definitely worth a visit and I will be coming back for more. I'm curious if the lack of customers was due to it being a weekday, late night, or simply because it's tucked away in a corner.
Masarap restaurant in century city mall. Actually my favourite restaurant in makati. You should try their pannacotta or crème brûlée. Their roasted chicken is spot-on.
