Ecohabitat Parador Ecoturistico

We really enjoyed our short stay in the beautiful Ecohabitat before we go to Calakmul the next morning. It is surrounded by garden in the backyard and the room was simple but perfectly clean with good internet, beautiful shower and comfortable bed(s). The best part for us were the covered terrace in front of the room that allowed us to sit outside, but protected from mosquitoes, etc., the goats that were roamed around and the highlight: amazing breakfast (egg from the owners chickens of your choice, fruit plate, bread with cream cheese, jam and tea/coffee) also served at 6 AM directly to our terrace to get an early start. We were also warmly welcomed and received some recommendations for dinner. Muchas gracias!

We booked this hotel in advance and were not quite sure what to expect. Upon arrival the restaurant does not look too inviting, but the kindness and hospitality of the owners are very good for it. Once we saw the room, we were sure that this was a good choice. Very clean room with good air conditioning, a beautiful place protected by mosquito nets to sit outside in very comfortable chairs. We had booked a tour in the jungle very early in the morning (pickup at 5:30 am) and we were even offered to get a coffee or a small breakfast that was early. After the arrival of the tour the restaurant had closed, but the owner came through our room and asked if we were hungry, so he opened us something to eat. The food and especially the breakfast was also pretty good!
