This was the most disappointing dinner experience of my trip to Australia. After a long wait for our food the pizza was small and burnt. There was very little range to start of with (no chicken pizzas- which should have been a warning). There was hardly and cheese on the pizzas - which started they had "lots of Mozzarella cheese". The Garlic Bread tasted old and chewy and even though there were only 3 small pieces (for $4) we didn't finish it, as it tasted horrible.
Hands down the worst wood fired pizza I've ever been to in my entire life. We went here with a group of 10 and spent over $200 at this place. The menu sounded okay, not much choice, boring and at best but we thought we'd give it a shot since it was "wood fired". The pizza. We ordered about 10 pizzas at prices ranging from $10 to $15. Between our group we ordered every pizza on the menu. The place claimed the pizzas were 10" in diameter. When we received our pizzas they were much smaller than we expected and heavily burnt on the edges. They tasted absolutely awful - the Lamb was very salty like someone had emptied a bag of salt on it. The Tropicana was described as "loaded with mozzarella", when in reality the pizza literally had 6 strands of shaved cheese on it. The garlic bread. We ordered 3 of these at $4 a pop. We received 9 small pieces of cold, stale bread with a small amount of what seemed to be garlic butter on them - all in shoved in a paper bag. Classy. The bread was very burnt on the edges and base, just like the pizza. The spring rolls. These were $4 on the menu. We received 4 stock standard vegetable spring rolls (that's $1 each, folks). They tasted just like all the other spring rolls I've ever had in my life, most likely shop bought and deep fried. Pretty hard to get wrong really unless you were blind and had no arms. Surprising they sell them for so much considering you can get a frozen pack of 50 for $5 at Coles. In retrospect we should've gone next door to Pizza Hut, $4.95 pizzas on Tuesdays. If you're ever in Noosa, avoid this place like the plague.
We ate here on Christmas eve. Food and service was very good and we liked that we also had a view of the river.
I have visited this restaurant before when it had a different name and owners, and I was not eager to come back.
