We had to wait an extra 30 minutes to collect our food only to find when we returned to our apartment the fish cakes were burnt, the pad Thai was gluggy, everything was cold and the massaman curry was missing! As we used a food app to purchase they refused to refund or drop the curry off. Poor experience.
We visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening. It was quite busy but we were welcomed with a smile by the waitress. We ordered chicken satay skewers as an entree and that was served promptly. However, our mains were a different story. My Pad Thai came out 5 minutes before my husband's Green Chicken Curry. The Pad Thai was hot on the surface but cool underneath, however the curry was piping hot. Both mains were spiced as we had requested and the flavours were nice. The waitress was lovely but was running as she struggled to cope with restaurant orders and takeaway orders. Overall, tasty food but uncoordinated service. Also, the chairs are very hard - I would have liked a cushion!
We've been eating here for many years and the food is always good. We've seen many staff start and leave and the new team seems excellent and has lifted the standard again to what once was just a Thai takeaway to a very nice place to eat in or takeaway. Yummy Thai.
A quick dinner was required before seeing a chow at "The J - Noosa". We just walked in. A single waitress was busy taking phone orders and seeing customers to seats. Lovely decor. Food was cooked fresh (not pre-prepared and microwaved). BYO, not licenced. Delicious food, can recommend the Chicken cashew nuts and the Beef Massaman curry.
We waited at the counter for a long time before seating ourselves outside. Only one staff member was attending to customers and he was struggling to keep up. No one came to give menus and eventually we left and went some where else. Disappointing as the food smelled amazing.
