Norfolk Island Store Cafe

This store had a very interesting range of goods and Souvenirs of exceptional quality and fair prices and i spent ages browsing before settling on my choices which was a hard decision . The assistant was very helpfull too with local knowledge.

Had a voucher for free coffee and sandwich or cake on departure. Ran out of bread, so they say, and they gave me one slice of brown bread and one slice of brown crust. Only buttered one slice. Really dry and tasteless. Not enough tables for the number of people departing.

We were able to enjoy a meal while watching the weavers on Wednesday. We had been told they would be there from 12 to 2pm, but they actually started at 9:30am. It was fascinating to see them create 4, 6, and 7 strand plaits.

When serving a plane full of passengers, it is important to have a clear understanding of the number of people being catered to. We were only able to get the last two sandwiches and there was no attempt made to make more.
