While skiing at Gore with a group of friends, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. I was a bit apprehensive at first because a HappyCow reviewer mentioned three years ago that the veggie burger was not vegan, and there were limited potentially vegan options on the menu besides salads. I inquired with the waitress about the veggie burger, specifically asking if it contained eggs and if it could be made vegan. She was very friendly and promptly checked for me. To my delight, the veggie burger is now eggless as of March 2023 and can be made vegan by omitting cheese and opting for a pretzel bun instead of a brioche bun. The fries were also vegan. The food was delicious! The burgers and fries were fantastic, so my girlfriend and I also took some to go. I do wish that they had a clearly labeled vegan option on the menu, and that there were more vegan choices available other than the veggie burger that requires substitutions.
I ordered the ratatouille with added pasta at this restaurant and it was really delicious. It could have used a bit more salt, but overall it was not a problem. In a location with limited vegan options, I would definitely recommend stopping here.
The food at this restaurant was incredibly delicious. I ordered the burger and it was fantastic. The root beer I got was very tasty and authentic. The peanut butter pie we shared was absolutely delicious. I have a big appetite and loved every bite. I also appreciated the sign in the men's restroom. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. I would recommend trying the Peanut Butter Pie. The price per person for dinner was between $50-100.
We were promptly seated and received our food quickly. The drinks and meal were satisfactory. The only problem was that the Poutine did not have gravy or cheese, but instead meat and mushrooms. Perhaps it should be called something else? Overall, the service was good and we dined in for dinner. The price per person ranged from $50 to $100.
