The jam was from Essex and the cream was from Cornwall. I ended up putting the jam on first because of this mix-up. Overall, it's still worth visiting, but they could consider serving a larger scone.
On a cool autumn morning with dew still on the windows, the scent of the sea in the air was captivating. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a mix of aromas - the warm cafe air wrapped around me, while the enticing smells of bacon and coffee filled the room. I sat down and the friendly server took my order with a smile, patiently noting down my extensive breakfast cravings. As I waited, time seemed to stand still until my meal arrived, a hearty breakfast that I had been eagerly anticipating. The bacon sandwich placed before me was simply delicious, and I savored every bite. I will definitely return to this charming spot, a memory I look forward to sharing during the holiday season. Ilfracombe, I adore you.
I visited Dolly's for a delicious Devon cream tea. The best part was that they are dog-friendly, and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Our dog Barry even got a sausage treat that he absolutely loved!
