Sugapeach Chicken Fish Fry

We stopped for dinner at 7:30. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming, although it was near the closing time. We tried both chicken and fish. For pages we got dirty rice and greens. Everything was so good. We really enjoyed the house sauce they have for the chicken/fish. I swear it was with Bourbon or whiskey! Yum! The bread on the fish is this wonderful corneal bread and the fried chicken batter was so crooked and delicious. I couldn't get enough. We took a peach bull and we were NOT disappointed. We recommend SugaPeach for a good meal ESPECIALLY if you are looking for some legit soul food in a family atmosphere.

My band, Moccasin Creek tours all over the country. When we are located in the south, we rarely get good home cooking, in the southern style, when we were on this way. Sugapeach was like sitting on my grandmother's table in the deep south. Great herb, green beans were perfectly seasoned... the Mac n cheese was also wonderful. The actual test was the fish. When Florida was native and a seafood junkie, I didn't know what to expect. Certainly, some of the best, light, scatter I've ever had. Next time we are in the Middle West, we will make it a point to go back. 5 star food, 5 star hospitality! Hats for Sugapeach! Excellent!

We went with the family today, and I have to say that this is the next to eat food at home that I have eaten since the move to Iowa. I tried fish and chicken. Everyone on our table smiled and satisfied. No complaints from us. We can't wait to go back and see the sweet, sweet ladies that made our belly so happy!

Be patient, it's worth waiting! I love this place, we stumbled over a week ago and oh man was good! They definitely know what they do in the kitchen. I was in the snake, and a guy turned to wait for fish. waiting is worth it! Fresh, crispy, hot fish... yeah! Very recommended!

Had a wonderful conversation with the owner on our first visit. I've been living in Georgia for three years and Sugapeach's food is fantastic, authentic southern fare! We had the fried chicken, Mac and cheese, collard greens, and Apple cobbler....all great, better than a lot of places in Georgia. Visit this gem in North Liberty!
