Windows Ice Cream - North Norfolk

This is the best soft serve ice cream I have ever had. It is so thick and creamy, and the portions are huge. It is definitely worth waiting in line for however long it takes. Thank you, I will definitely be returning.

The ice cream at this place is amazing, the best we've ever had! We love coming to Cromer just to visit this restaurant. If they make a mistake with an order, they give it to you for free and make a new one without any hassle.

We ordered a variety of ice creams and slushies at this restaurant, and they were all delicious and reasonably priced. However, the food hygiene practices are concerning and may not meet established guidelines. A male employee, who seemed to be in charge, filled my ice cream cone with his bare hands and passed it to a young female employee, who then handed it to me. She handled money with both hands before serving another ice cream cone without sanitizing her hands. Additionally, she had long fake nails that are not typically allowed in food service settings. Surprisingly, the restaurant only accepts cash payments, which could be less sanitary than contactless payments. In one instance, my chocolate drizzle ice cream suddenly became mint drizzle halfway through the cone, indicating that the machine was not properly cleaned between orders. In contrast, a nearby ice cream shop wraps a napkin around the cone to avoid direct contact with the ice cream and has separate employees for handling ice creams and taking payments. They also pour out any remaining ice cream from the machine to ensure customers receive the correct flavor. I will definitely choose the other ice cream shop over this one in the future.

Friendly, patient staff, tasty ice cream. The staff all seemed to be enjoying their job, smiling and happy makes a big difference when customers see this. We had various different flavours and toppings, cones were fresh too
