Aut-o-rama Twin Drive-in Theatre

We've been here for over a decade, we love this place! The digital projectors are bright and crisp, and the image is excellent. The sound, transmitted via FM radio, is very high quality. The concessions really stand out in terms of food quality. You wouldn't normally think about a dinner from Filmtheater Essen, but we do this at Aut O Rama all the time. Especially her pizza is excellent, burgers are delicious, and her popcorn is also consistently great. A family-run operation, Aut O Rama is filled with friendly people, and we have met them over the years and have observed how their children of newborns go next to the register sitting to teenagers OPERATING the register. We love to go here and often bring friends and family that are even more fun. We look forward to the next season!

The location is perfect. The screen is wide and clear. There?s place to get food and drinks, obviously you can?t bring food with u you have to buy from there. You can either enjoy watching the movie from your car or beside it. They charge per person not per car. I had a good time there <3

An incredible value, and experience for the entire family. You usually get two first run movies, or at least a new release with a recent popular movie, for less than the price of an evening showing of one movie, at a chain theatre. The concession stand prices are reasonable, and not outlandish, when compared to chain theatres. One heads-up, if you see a movie on Screen 2, park far to the left side, so the occasional passing train noise isn't too obtrusive.

This drive-in theater is great. The concession stand blows any movie theater out of the water; the prices and selection. They have team members waking around making sure people follow the rules. We had a great time tonight and can't wait to come back!

Love this movie theater. One of the few remaining drive ins around. The family Loves coming here during Halloween for the Halloween feature fest. All the retro movies, bundling up in blankets in the backseat of the car. Love it! We try to always make a yearly trip.
