New Garden - North Somerset

I used to frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a month. They have a great selection and delicious food, and they are the only Chinese restaurant in Nailsea that offers delivery. However, during my last visit, the food was very late and not up to the usual standard. When I called tonight to place an order for delivery (since they are the only Chinese restaurant that delivers locally), I was disappointed to learn that they no longer accept card payments over the phone. In today's environment, only accepting cash is not only inconvenient but also poses a public health risk. I urge them to address this issue or risk losing more customers.

Ordered takeaway. Stoppard to take 40 mins took 70 and when arrived one of the dishes wad too salty to eat. Very disappointing.

Thought we would try out the delivery service as we couldn't be bothered to cook, happy to say it was fantastic, easy to order over the phone who needs an app lol, food arrived promptly and hot. One of the best Chinese we have had In a while will happily order again.

We moved to nailsea last year and since then new gardens has been our go to takeaway. Was always good grub but last 2 times ordering its been horrible, overcooked sweet and sour chicken balls so the chicken is dry and hard. But the last visit was probably the worst Ordered a few chicken currys and opening the containers it was litrally a thick jelly curry paste and all the ingredients were at the bottom. I dont mind mixing it up if they didnt have time but the curry paste was warm and just like jelly tasted vile. We wont be eating there again.

I'm happy to say that this restaurant has become my go-to choice for takeout. They are one of the few places that offer delivery to Backwell, and even though they can be busy on Saturdays, they have never disappointed me. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend trying their salt and chili chicken and the Singapore vermicelli.
