Cinco de Mayo Mexican Grill

The food here is a tad more traditional than most Mexican restaurants in Vancouver. If Mexican is what you want, you will not be disappointed with the fabulous food here.

About the closest I have found to good Mexican food on the North Shore. Good quality, tasty meats, very good beans and a good range of fresh toppings. Well priced and nicely served. The people here actually seem to care about what they prepare and it shows. Cafe style tables and chairs and some covered outside seating too. All said I have been here a dozen times and will continue to go here.

Stopped by after a movie. Food is excellent and the staff friendly, portions are generous. An unassuming location but well worth the visit. Have also ordered take out which was delicious!!

Went here for lunch because it is close to my work. The girl their recommended the small burrito with pork. It was so good. They put the burritos in a panini press so the cheese melts, so good. I went back the next day because I was so addicted and ordered the bigger size which was a mistake, way too large. I also decided to try the beef but I prefer the pork. A nice cheap lunch spot and the staff there is excellent. They are super friendly.

Returned to this bistro on May 5th for a pre birthday celebration and to participate int he Cinquo de Mayo celebration It was happy it was upbeat the staff were focused fun and attentive the food was amazingly good with many levels of heat The location was marvelous and the MEAL DELICIOUSI was even given free tequila shots for my birthday This was my second time there and they have managed to steel my heart that leads to my stomach away lol My son is a chef and he loved it there.
