Such a great j spot!! The food is freshly made and you can tell there is a lot of love behind every meal. Most j places over-do the spice level, I am from the Caribbean but like to taste the food too haha. This was perfected seasoning and cooking the flavour profile was strong with a little kick but not overwhelming. Best j spot in Scarborough which says a lot because there are a lot of good spots!
The food is good and tasty but not enough meat given for the cost. J chicken sandwich lacking in chicken itself.
The food overall is excellent. In particular, I love the Chicken Soup and the Beef Patties. I've had the Curried Goat and the Neck Chicken... excellent. Be a little patient when you drop in and order. The food in my opinion is being prepared with love and care.
Had the j sandwich , flavor is good but the portion sucks for the cost . all bread. nothing really inside. even coleslaw was sparing....
