Good service, great whiting fish. Great pork stomach soup, great satay beef flat noodle, great wide egg noodle
I used to visit this restaurant a lot when they were at the Silverstar Blvd and Highway 7. I decided to do a takeout lunch after knowing they are now at a new location. The fried satay beef noodles and black pepper pig stomach soup noodles were good. I'll try to eat in next time.
Food was great! Very well balanced flavours especially with the sweet and sour pork, fried just right and freshly and not drowning in overly sweetened or thickened sauce.Service was a little slow given that we thought coming for an early dinner slightly before 6pm would have helped to beat dinnertime rush, however, servers were nice and kind to tell us that our dishes were coming and to explain to us other dishes of interest.Chairs we sat on are foldout chairs and the floor was far too slippery for them. Beware if you have really elderly with your dining party, though the majority of the patrons at the time were somewhat on the elderly side.Kid friendliness: Saw a lot of kids around and young families, so they seem to be able to cater for them.Wheelchair accessibility: Saw several elderlies with rollators, though the floor is a bit slippery.
The food was decent. Probably the least oily food I had in a restaurant, but because of that, the food was somewhat bland. The portion was small and I felt only 60% full. It was a busy restaurant though even on a weeknight. The service was good and the ambiance was good. The washroom is extremely tidy. I think it should be 3.5 stars.
