Venus - Northport

Don’t know what happened to this place. Used to be pretty good, but the food we had tonight was worse than horrible. Wife had falafel. The patties were actually hard. Seemed like they were either overcooked or left over and reheated. Same thing with my souvlaki. The meat chunks were like hard leather. The baclava was stale as well. Threw the whole mess away. Wont be going back. Too many other choices.

I use to always come here but the last handful of times that I‘ve come here the food has been terrible. I get everything Is pricey these days but can u not undercook the food? I’ll go to pareas in Huntington from now on 100000 times better then here

I have been coming here since I was little and have always had the best experience and enjoyed their high quality food! The staff is great and very welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy. Overall amazing family owned restaurant and favorite Greek food spot!! Highly recommend!

If you enjoy feeling unwell after a meal, this restaurant might be the right choice for you. Four different individuals, who dined at separate times, all experienced stomach issues after eating at Venus, and the most concerning part is that we ordered completely different dishes. There seems to be a serious problem in their kitchen. We won’t be returning.

The staff was extremely friendly, and while the food was acceptable, the warm coleslaw raised some concerns about potential stomach issues later on. The best part of the meal was definitely the bottled Diet Coke. They do offer Wi-Fi, but the password is so complicated that the waitstaff had to point us to it on the wall. The walls themselves are adorned with overused Greek-themed paintings.
