Tesco Cafe Hexham - Northumberland

My partner sat down when I bought this lunch. after a few minutes the girl came out behind the counter and told me we had to move to another table there was not one), as there were people before me...from me in the wait! disgusting service, we went!

It is not often that we write a review for a café, but my husband and I decided to give credit where it is deserved. We have visited Tesco Café in Hexham twice in the last week and the service was excellent. The young man named John could not have been more helpful, even bringing a teaspoon to our table. The triple-cooked chips were delicious and the tea was served properly in a teapot with each cup having its own jug of milk, sauces, and napkins. The café was neat and clean. Well done Tesco!

An hour before the conclusion on a Sunday we advised and decided to eat at the ranch of the instant. we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our cod and chips and rooted and quinoa burger. very clean environment and helpful and cheerful staff.

This café, part of the Tesco group, is not the greatest. The staff appear unhappy, some tables are tied up with string and there isn't much space between them. The drinks are average and the cake was dry. Overall, there isn't much more to say about this place.

At 3pm, the all-day breakfast seemed to have been sitting out all day waiting to be bought. The beans were overly dark and dry, the egg yolks and sausages were too hard, and the bacon was completely dried out. The only thing that wasn't overcooked were the hash browns. I had higher expectations as it really shouldn't be that hard to make a good breakfast.
