China Restaurant Asia - Nürnberg

After 18 months in Africa, where Chinese cuisine varies daily between blah and oh no, it was good to find a reasonable Chinese restaurant. The entrance is a bit shady and grim, but the restaurant sits on the first floor...we quickly. A typical blend of eclectic Chinese food, but not too much to choose, but the good foundations are available. We had the deep fried duck, twice boiled pig and chicken cure with fried rice with shrimps and everything was good. Not stellar, but good and it helped fill the void we believed. There may be other better Chinese in Nuremberg, but this being near the hotels in and around the old town was a bonus.

The entrance looks a bit mysterious, but it is worth checking. We went the steps into a small Mom-and-Pop restaurant with friendly service and decent food and felt immediately relaxed. It is an out of the way respite directly on a main road. The foods are typical of the euro-Asian restaurants that say better than most, but not all, in the states. I would only recommend this place to get a nice breath from your seeing activities.

Service was fast... Food was hot and tasty...waiter spoke and understood English. Access to the restaurant is well known.

A typical mix of eclectic Chinese food, but not overly much to choose from, but the good basics are available. We had the deep fried duck, twice cooked pork and the chicken curry with fried rice with shrimp and all of it was good. Not stellar, but good and it did help fill the void we have been craving. There may be other better Chinese in Nuremberg but this being close to the hotels in and around the old town, was a bonus.

I would recommend this place just to get a nice breather from your sight-seeing activities.
