Beautiful looking old, original pub. the way they would find in the country in england. eating was quite normal to put it nice
Charming in old style. good, honest pub duve, in the original environment where they share the room with friendly locals. worth visiting if they are in the opposite or travel the great ocean road.
First time I've been to the Boggy in about seven years and there is still nothing quite like having a jump off the bridge into the Curdie river and then lunch/tea up at the pub. Had nachos/warm chicken salad for lunch and both were fine pub fare. Locals were kind enough to help out in getting me a pot when the barman was cooking lunch. Fantastic pub, reminiscent of the TAB/pokieless pubs of years gone by. Don't bother if you're used to pretentious, characterless restaurants along the Yarra.
Historic?. 3km off the M1 on the way to Warnnambool you will find the Historic Boggy Creek Pub. I decided to take a look. About the only thing historic was that it was old and run down. It had character alright a large mob of characters that were obviously locals and made the place feel like theirs. Can 't say that I was keen to stick around too long.
