Juliano's Italian Sandwich Shop

I love a good sandwich, and when this place opened, I decided to give it a try. I ordered a full caprese (tomato, basil, mozzarella and balsamic vinaigrette for $15, I was sad when I opened my sandwich after getting home. Two huge fat slices of tomato, 1 leaf of basil and the mozzarella slices (those were great! and barely any sauce on one side and soggy on the other. Unfortunately, I haven't been back. I think they could improve on this by toasting the bread. Taking the cheese and spreading it to both sides, chop up the basil and make the tomato slices thinner (take the giant two and slice them in half , and finally top it with the sauce. Just a suggestion.

Boy, I really hope this spot makes it, since the neighborhood is sorely lacking credible food. They make excellent sandwiches, served with your choice of chips or a small cup of really tasty soup. 1/2 for $7 or a whole for $12. 1/2 is plenty. Very quiet on a Thursday at lunch, so you should come in soon in case they're not around long. Very nice staff, cute space. Could use salt and pepper on the table. Go, support a local business!

Came in today (2/14 between 1 2pm) ordered hot chicken parm and Juliano's special; cup of soup (Italian sausage and lentil) and chips to go. The place is clean, renovated, good music, happy people, everything on point. I've been dying to find a good sandwich shop around the area for years and today, I finally found sandwich heaven. The Juliano's sandwich was packed full of fresh meat, cheese just the right amount of dressing and veggies (including SHREDDED crispy lettuce the only type of lettuce on a grinder/sandwich). My husband devoured his chicken parm in record time. The soup was cooked well, I ate it all. $25 for 2 HUGE full size sandwiches, 1 cup of soup and chips. You just can't beat it. So happy this shop opened in our area. Oak Grove needs some more love. We will be back, and back often!!

Yes please. The Philly was great and the chicken Parmesan was real deal, New York deli good. I've been craving another non-stop! Don't even think about it any more, just go get a sandwich it'll be awesome.

Don't let the strip mall exterior dissuade you, the inside is very nice and modern. The food was excellant and cheap. The portions were large and service was great. Excellent excellent excellent btw, it's not just sandwiches. They have great pasta for dinner. Definitely a new favorite.
