Panera Bread - Oak Lawn

The staff at this restaurant was very professional and provided excellent service. I arrived just before closing to pick up some food to go, and I was impressed by how delicious it was. Some places will try to sell customers old, stale food, but that was not the case here. I ordered the Panera Chipotle Chicken Melt with avocados, along with a large ice cold green tea. My sandwich was hot, fresh, and really tasty. Overall, we were very happy with our meal.

The Mediterranean sandwich is absolutely delicious, especially when paired with the broccoli cheddar soup. I appreciate that they include red onion in the sandwich. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5.

I typically have no issues with Panera, but I was disappointed with my experience at this location today. The broccoli cheddar soup was overly salty, which I know is not the store's fault since it comes pre-made. The coffee was also a letdown - not only was it not hot, it was lukewarm and weak. This is unacceptable as hot beverages should be hot and dark roast coffee should be strong. Additionally, the bathroom was lacking paper towels and had a clogged toilet. The store itself was messy, with chairs blocking walkways. Overall, I was most frustrated with the coffee quality. The food at Panera is too expensive for just okay quality. It's disappointing.

I believe the cashier was overwhelmed. The line moved very slowly. She was very helpful and friendly but needed help.Food: 5/5

Second time I’ve ordered something for breakfast and they haven’t switched the bagel when it clearly says switch the BAGEL! Too much money spent for someone not to pay attention.Food: 4/5
