The Barrel Club - Oak Lawn

Service was horrible. Server was rude and rushed our entire dinner.

My husband and I went there with friends this time and had Chris as our waiter. This is our 2nd time having him serve us and he is very thorough. Our friends were also very impressed with the service and food. Thank you for always taking care of your customers!!

We were there to celebrate a birthday, but much to my chagrin, so were other customers- with a different goal. The concern is that this is a restaurant NOT A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE. The patrons who arrived with large scale balloons made the experience extremely uncomfortable. Last summer, I had a similar experience at this restaurant and vowed to never return on a Saturday evening. A birthday was being celebrated and these patrons not only caused a traffic jam in the lot ,but blocked the entryway. These people were loitering and didn’t have the decency to step aside and take photos and not block the doors. Last night was definitely my last visit as well as that of my family and friends. It’s the manager’s responsibility to ensure that every patron has a positive experience, but allowing extra large parties to be seated in the dining room as if it’s their private dining experience is ridiculous. Again, this is NOT a an event space.

This is my third time coming here and this time it was for my moms birthday! The food was good! We ordered the Amish chicken I shared with my mom, Shrimp pasta, Shirt steak and Lamb Chops was over cooked but was able to get another order. We also, ordered appetizers the crab cakes, queso dip and meatballs. We loved the atmosphere and the music selection that night was great! Our waiter Ken was so nice and very professional, we gave him an extra tip on top of his tip!! I also, love the drink selections as well. I didn't have the flights this time but we ordered other drinks and they was so good!! I never have a bad experience when I never have a bad experience when I come to The Barrell Club.. I defiantly will recommend The Barrell Club for group or date night. Thank you
