Since moving to Florida, finding Mexican food similar to what I was used to in Southern California or Baja California has been difficult. However, this restaurant is a pleasant surprise! While it may not be located in the best part of Orlando, every time I visit, I make sure to stop by for a carne asada burrito. Picture a burrito filled with just cheese, grilled steak, and pico de gallo, big enough to last for two meals! This steak burrito stays true to its roots without any beans or rice to mask the flavor of the delicious beef. It's a little taste of home for me.
Previously known as Tonos Open End and Reliable, this restaurant offers freshly made to order food. The establishment is currently being renovated to convert the lobby back into a sit-down restaurant, but the drive-thru remains open late. The menu offers affordable prices.
If you're searching for genuine Mexican cuisine, this restaurant is the perfect spot! I won't even bother trying to write a glowing review - just come and see for yourself. The area may seem a bit sketchy, but they deliver with their amazing dishes!
Big lunch with drink for less than $5. would do it again There was no waiting for the food next to cook it. Burrito was gigantic, could have been two separate meals. It was filled with chicken, gravy, fajita vegetables and, surprisingly, fries. I'll have to check the board again for other lunchtime specials, but there were a variety of other dishes to try.
Hands down one of the best tacos shops in central FL. Just moved back from CA a couple years ago. Been trying to find that same authentic taste. Finally found it! The CA burrito is just how I remembered it in CA. Food rations are the same. Get a lot of food for your buck! Thank you Tono's! Only place, that has that CA taste!
