ed's cheesesteaks - Oakland

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a delicious Cheesesteak lunch. They offer great prices and top-notch quality food!

Okay, so I've been a loyal customer since they opened up and from day to day, the woman who leads this place has always thrown a smile in the face and never messed up an order.

The prices here are great. For just over six dollars, you get a complete and filling meal. Fries are included, but no drink. I don't drink soda so it's not a problem for me. The food is decent enough so this is probably the lunch spot to go to if you're trying to get full and not spend too much money. If you're particularly hungry, a few dollars more will get you a large sized sandwich, but I think that's unnecessary. They have breakfast, too, which I haven't tried since I like to get a chorizo burrito at Juice Joint a few busineses down. I've had the burger here, too, but I think the cheese steak is the better option.

For a philly steak sandwich needs more meet for the price...otherwise taste is great

This place has my eye first because of the sheer size of the other buildings. It made me take twice, so I tried and I wasn't disappointed at all. I had the original cheese steak! Although $13 is an expensive lunch for a meal, think about the area in and the food and even it out.
