Mac Khai - Oakland

Mac Khai serves an impressive array of cuisines, with some truly standout dishes. My top picks are the brisket and flank steak pho, the shaking beef entrée, and the chicken wings. Everything is fresh, bursting with flavor, and presented in creative ways. I've dined here countless times and have always enjoyed my meals without exception.

I've dined here several times, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. The food is consistently great, and I've personally recommended this place to my family. The service is excellent as well.

We enjoyed Vietnamese crepes (which made my boyfriend really happy since they remind him of home), tofu lemongrass vermicelli, oysters, and jicama summer rolls. The flavors were incredible and met all our expectations. I requested spicy, and they definitely delivered! Just a word of caution when ordering spicy from a place like this—you can always add more heat later on. The menu offers a fantastic selection overall, including plenty of vegetarian options.

I asked for spicy and they delivered! But beware ordering spicy from a place like this.. you can always add more heat later. Great selection all around, including vegetarian options. Great Pho Bac! But they didn't provide all the fragrant herbs for the soup (basil, cilantro, cilantro, etc... But otherwise delicious Vietnamese cuisine!

I came here to Oakland a year ago and this place was not on my radar at all, until I craved for Pho and it shows up. Been going there ever since. You guys have very delicious pho.
