The pulled pork was delicious! They also had a really cool epoxy table. Very laid back while still being efficient. I would recommend it.
We stopped by after a weekend at Alpine Lake and were not disappointed! I ordered the chicken and rib dinner and my husband ordered the pulled pork. All of it was delicious! I will say their baked beans were the highlight for me though. Sweet with a kick and all the bean varieties. It was phenomenal! Definitely can't go wrong here!
I stopped because i saw smoke rolling like a moth to a flame. I bought a whole rack of ribs, 1/2 lb brisket point and 1/2 lb brisket flat to take home. I was satistfied with the tenderness of the brisket, however after 2 bites i trashed the ribs. Site alone was not inviting but gave it a chance. Did not taste luke it was smokes, the meat was tender enough but for the life of me how can any pit master be okay with not removing the silver skin backing. It maybaid in keeping the
Surprisingly good restaurant within walking distance of a lot of things in Oakland along 219. The food is beyond good the staff is top notch from the recommendations on the menu for a first time visitor to the owner making sure the food met his standards.
