La Casona de Tita - Restaurante

Una experiencia excelente, este hotel boutique está lleno de obras de arte y tiene pocas habitaciones que te hacen sentir como en casa... los desayunos son increíbles y el personal siempre está dispuesto a ayudar. El mejor hotel de Oaxaca, ¡altamente recomendado!

Muy bonito, servicio excelente, lo único que no es tan bonito son los precios y que el coche se queda en la calle.

We were here and loved it. the breakfast was one of the best meals we had in oaxaca. service was also great and the farm was beautiful.

We read many reviews praising the food and the service so we decided to try it. Big mistake. I dont know why it is marked as inexpensive, it is, considering that the only thing you can eat for less than 100 pesos is eggs or...enfrijoladas without meat...as a mexican i can tell you nothing justifies those prices and no mexican will tell you enfrijoladas with meat at 150 pesos is cheap. Second problem: our meal was cold and tasteless, in a city like Oaxaca i have trouble understanding how they managed that. Third and biggest problem: at the beginning of our breakfast they brought some sweet bread, butter and jam. We asked if the bread was included in the breakfast and the waiter told us it was. At the end of the meal we see it's been included in the check...along with a 15% tip mmmh no. 10% is the norm but that doesn't mean you HAVE to tip. 15% is for outsanding service not mediocre food and average service. I wonder if they tell foreigners the tip is optional or if they just charge them automatically. Tasteless food, dry bread, average service and a dishonest check, do not recomend.

Hearty Mexican Brekfast. Peaceful and elegant surroundings. Great hostess that makes you feel at home. Very worthwhile
